Dr. Thomas J. Gulino

Dr. Thomas J. Gulino is the eldest son of Thomas and Elizabeth Gulino of Hoboken, NJ. In 1964, his parents moved to Jackson, NJ, where he grew up and graduated from Jackson Memorial High School in 1980. Both of Dr. Gulino’s parents were award and trophy winning bowlers for a number of years, so naturally, Dr. Gulino acquired an interest in bowling in his early years, as well as a love of chess, model railroading and snow skiing. Dr. Gulino also dabbled in acting, in high school and was voted “best actor” as a senior superlative by his fellow classmates. Dr. Gulino is also an excellent dancer and he won his high school’s 13th annual dance contest as a sophomore, thus acquiring the nickname ‘Disco Gulino’!!!

Upon graduating college, Dr. Gulino enrolled in dental school at UMDNJ-NJDS in Newark, NJ, attending from 1986-1990. After graduating dental school, Dr. Gulino immediately entered private practice. In June 1994, Dr. Gulino acquired his certification in the Art and Science of Oral Implantology after successfully completing a 10 month course. He acquired a private practice in March 1997 and ran a vibrant and financially successful practice in Clark, NJ., until December 2017. After 14 months of semi-retirement, in February of 2019, Dr. Gulino returned to the practice of Dentistry and has now joined the Staff at American Dental Care in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Dr. Amish Patel is a graduate of Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry. His academic aptitude allowed him to A the the first and only student at this university to complete his undergraduate degree in 2 years. Dr. Patel has been practicing dentistry since 2006.

His early childhood exposure to dentistry helped him accelerate through dental school and go on to excelling in his profession. Amongst his peers, Dr. Patel is recognized as a dynamic and hard working professional who owns and operates 10 dental offices and is committed to excellence in dentistry.

Dr. Benner | American Dental Care - Whitehouse Station NJ

Dr. Alex Benner

Dr. Alex Benner graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Science-Business and Chinese. He earned his DMD from Temple University, where he was awarded a scholarship for scholastic achievement and served as president of his class. Interestingly, he lived a number of years in China and graduated high school from the International School of Beijing.

Dr. Benner furthered his dental education at Jefferson Health – Abington Hospital, one of the country’s foremost residency programs. There he gained extensive experience in treating medically compromised patients, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and complete oral rehabilitation cases.

Dr. Benner strives to provide the highest level of comprehensive dental care with minimally invasive and conservative techniques. Because of his work in the field of implantology, he has been awarded as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (www.icoi.org). He continues to pursue further education in implantology, attending multiple courses to become comprehensively trained in dental implants for “teeth in a day” or “all on 4” style tooth replacement as well as for placing implants in areas with limited or no bone.

In his free time, Dr. Benner is an avid tennis player and outdoorsman. He enjoys coaching and mentoring a middle school boys’ rowing program in faith, discipline, and excellence. He also sneaks out on motorcycle rides whenever possible.

Dr. Oh, DDS | American Dental Care - Whitehouse Station NJ

Simon Oh, DDS

Dr. Simon Oh grew up in Maryland where he received his Bachelors of Science at the University of Maryland – College Park in Physiology and Neurobiology. He then graduated with honors at the University of Maryland Dental School, where he achieved the highest national board scores in his class. He was a member of several honors societies, including the OKU honors society, and won many scholarships for academic and clinical achievement. Dr. Oh was also the lead guitar player of his band, InciDental.

After finishing his dental education, Dr. Oh furthered his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Here he received extensive inpatient and outpatient training in conditions ranging from impacted wisdom teeth and dental implants, to major facial reconstructive surgery. Dr. Oh is also a published author in the Journal of Maxillofacial Trauma.

Today, Dr. Oh has special interest in implant dentistry and outpatient oral surgery, as well as cosmetic and family dentistry. He focuses on delivering quality care to his patients, in the most pain-free manner possible. Dr. Oh enjoys spending time with his wife Sophie and their two dogs, Max and Mandi.
